Title says it all: are there any 2-stroke scooters bigger than a 50 made recently?

Depends on the country you live in. The USA unfortunately will never have anymore new 2t scoots. The EPA and other government agencies seem to think scooters cause to much pollution. At this point finding a new 2 stroke is hard regardless of engine size. Even TOMOS and the above mentioned Genuine have gone 4T. That's not exactly true, you can still import 2-stroke vehicles up to 125cc under the EPA regs. -Rich

Actually the key words I was commenting on were, "The USA unfortunately will never have anymore new 2t scoots". As far as recently made scooters, Genuine still has 2009 150cc 2-stroke scooters in stock, and CPI Hawaii (Miami) is talking about bringing in a 125... at least that's what they said in their last email.

You want more recent? Go buy a 2013 Kymco Like, it's a 50cc 2-stroke. What makes you think 2-strokes are gone? There are at least a dozen sellers online selling them -- Google is our friend if you want to find one. I suggested the Stella because it's my personal favorite, and a leftover Stella is still brand new!

Instead of playing with me, Link the OP to your wisdom. Seems YOUR THE GUY that recommends Google instead of answering. I submit even though HANK recommended the Stella as the most recent not you. Unless..... FIN- I already said there are no more 2-strokes over 125ccs except the Stella. You are the one that's feeling a little inadequate it seems and playing with me! -Rich

Yea those are one of the fastest stock scoots and they come restricted and restricted they run up little over 50mph with no sweat. If you unrestrict them they can hit close to 70mph but like you said Big Guy you have to have some GONDOLAS to get up to that speed on such a light scoot. Sam

If we can divert from the flame-fest to the question, please!
I don't need new...other than the Genuine Stella 150 (which, with its manual transmission, I'm reluctant to truly call a scooter), who made bigger 2-strokes? I'm fine with a used scoot as long as it's not junk.

Hi The first scoots made were equipped with manual transmissions so i don't know why you don't think the Stella is a proper scoot as she is And so you have the Stella 2t and the Genuine Rattler a 110 cc 2 t scoot, My local dealer has one as left over stock for sale btw www.nhpowersports.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?sid=02028314X2K3K2013J10I37I36JAMQ5451R0&veh=127153&pov=2408337There's not much else out there for a 2t engine over 50 cc's Take care and ride safely Yours Hank
