Ok
so this is a slider carb with the throttle cable attaching into the top directly to the slide.
The Idle screw is right below the fuel intake.
The A/F screw is a bit in front of the idle screw on the air-intake side.
HOWEVER the A/F screw has a tiny brass disc covering the hole. This tiny brass disc has a tiny hole in the center of it. It looks like I could try to use a small pick or a paper clip to hook and remove that brass piece to access the screw. I wanted to ask first if anyone here who owns the MCR-15-50 has done this and was there indeed a screw under the brass piece?
I need to adjust the A/F.
When the scooter is dead cold like 18F outside. It will start the instant you push the starter button and it will idle. However the second you even blip the throttle it dies. Like it is not getting enough air in and dies out.
That means its too lean right? I need to richen it up a bit even with the auto-choke/enricher it just is not enough to give any throttle. After about 40mins of idling and trying to blip the throttle tonight in 18F weather it finally came to life.
So from my reading it seems the A/F needs adjusted.
Anyone have any take on this?
