I have a 47.6mm 2T BBK and wonder if anyone has or knows if it would be safe to bore it to 48mm which is not much in order to use a 48mm piston . I really want a forged piston for my 2T but it seems so hard to find in a scooter size and I found a few 48mm Wiseco pistons www.wiseco.com on Amazon for 80cc motorcycles but will have to research to learn if it would fit the crank and ports line up prior to buying it . Yes I know the price can be from 80 to 160 for some Wisce pistons , but made in the USA , made from billet not recycled pot metal , and the high ends are forged twice . I used a Wiseco in my Honda CR 125 that was already bored .60 and ran hot but I had a chromoly sleeve pressed in which made the bore to be .30 over and did not run hot . I was 16 and it was my first total rebuild , drove like I stole it as it was setup for WTFO racing not trail riding and never had a problem . I see so many 7xcc BBKs and some 9xcc BBKs but the require case boring for the piston and crank , but yet I am surprised to not find a 80cc BBK besides the very expensive 86cc kits . Would love to get a hair bigger piston ( yes I know its not much ) without having to take it all apart and spend 150 ata machine shop . I have the Modcycle iron cylinder like this shop.jupiterscooters.net/Cylinder-kit-75cc-Minarelli-10mm-wrist-pin-Made-in-Taiwan-MGMP0108-75CC-10mmpin.htm
