2012 Genuine Roughhouse 50. Took delivery yesterday and so far absolutely love it. Going to be just warm enough the next few days to get out and break her in a bit! Attachments:

Got a few adjustments to make. Just came from the dealer after having them check it out. It's not wanting to idle correctly and almost acts like it's running too rich. He took the air filter off and said he though the carb needed a rebuild because it had been sitting on the showroom for quite a while and might of got clogged. after messing with it for a bit he put it back together with the conclusion that it needed a carb rebuild but once it was back together it was purring like a kitten so depending on how it runs between now and tomorrow afternoon will decide whether it's fixed or if I will be dropping it off to get the carb rebuilt. Other than that I took the restrictors off last night and it runs perfect!

Nice. The heavier tires it has will be great for any out-of-the-way paths you might come across.

Well as far as break in someone at the dealer rode it around a little bit. Bought it with around 75 miles on it. They told me I don't really have to do anything special as far as breaking it in which I don't know how true that is but ok. It's pretty cold here now so I'll be just riding it on short trips to appointments or the store and what not till the weather warms up with the restrictors off there is now I'll be riding with it wide open so just normal day to day use should work fine for breaking it in I would guess.

I see lots of those around here in Boston. Hope you enjoy it. It looks great.
I don't know if you need a pdi, isn't that what the dealer is for?

I love the genuines, I had a buddy 50 and a rattler 110 for a while. Loved them both and they never let me down.

Got a pretty decent deal on it. The dealer is phasing out scooter sales (not parts or service just sales) and had one left. Inquired about a Qlink when the guy told me the story about phasing out sales and he would sell me a Genuine Roughhouse 50 for a real good price. Turns out I got it for their cost which is $1550 plus sales tax and title work fee... $1787 out the door. I haven't come across such a solid warranty that can beat the 2 yr unlimited miles. That was a HUGE selling point for me over searching for a used. These sell normally for $2,199 plus tax and fees... I saved at minimum $600 which is pretty good if you ask me!

yea you got a good deal the only thing special i would say to to do is to never keep your throttle on a constant rpm's for the 1st 500 miles. up to 6k, down to 4. up to 5. etc etc etc, no more than say 10 seconds on each rpm dont do any WOT yet. i want a BLUR ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Most of my riding is stop and go every mile or 2 so that shouldn't be too much of an issue. Depending on traffic I can definitely try my best to keep the RPM up and down instead of steady.
