I have been looking into the BigBear 150cc and all of its models and other brands that are 150cc and larger.
I would like some input on trikes and preferred brand/model.
Looking for 50 mph + 6'1" 270lbs
Thanx in advance

i know im a bit bigger lol. thats why i was looking into 150cc + 300cc is probably where i am going to end up, just wondering and wanting some input on models and branding. I will try and help you a little here so that all reading this post can get the benefit of my info. First off Pacific Rim Int'l, DBA Ice Bear is the only manufacturer of Chinese conventional ( 2 wheels in the back) trikes. Their machines are US Patent. Now saying that, as far as branding is concerned, there are dealers out there that change the names and model numbers on their websites. To to this day I do not know why they do that. For a person your size, I don't think a 150cc is going to do the trick for you. Ice Bear says the max speed on a 150 is 49.7MPH. Now I am 6' 1", 210 lbs and 50MPH on a stock 150 is about right. Some are a bit faster and others a bit slower. The good thing is that the performance kits out there for a GY6 will work on a 150 trike. For what you want to do a 300cc would be a better choice. There's no replacement for displacement and that's never more true than with trikes. With the added drag and weight I would go 300 or bigger. As rapidjim has said There aren't a lot of choices for off the rack trikes so it won't be to hard to narrow down your search.
Go big you won't regret it.
