Considering i just registered today i just figured i would pop in and introduce myself etc in the proper section = ]. Names Justin live in the Charlotte North Carolina area of the United States of America ( for our international friends out there that aren't familiar with state geography yadayada ) i would consider it a nice place to scoot even in the winter if bundled up enough ( temps never under 20 f where im at any time of day unless we get the occasional NC snowstorm its bareable. To make a long and slightly painfull story short im here to learn as much as possible about scooters in general ( 49cc in particular ) and to potentially get some advice on what type of scooter to get for my particularly interesting situation. Lets just say new years is called amateur night for a reason...my license is gone for a year but that wont stop my scootin!
Much love to everyone and hopefully once im out of my "noob scootin" era i can be of help to others around here as well to the best of my abilities.
Thanks for the read guys!
Justin

thanks for the warm and awesome welcomes to you both. " JUST MESSING WITH YA WELCOME " love it made me laugh But yeah i figured you were just playing your post had me for a second i was like "hmmm i thought there were others with those great "skellys" in the closet" as i call them but yeah i have nothing to hide haha got a dui on new years no lie no lie = p thanks for everything guys trying to find a suitable scooter at the moment thinking of a Genuine Roughouse not sure yet though much research to do still. My commute to work sort of requires a little more "umph" in the get up and go area than 30mph.......already read some things that might help me there though so just looking for some brand / dealer suggestions. would like to see what im riding in person but no worries on dealer suggestions that ship im more than welcome to them and any others with good seller raps. Just looking for somthing thats not going to get me killed get up and go wise in traffic money isnt a HUGE issue but the cheaper the better honestly max budget = $2300 usd ish. sorry for the blabs just got home gotta spend some time with the girlfriend so this is pretty much an " as fast as i can type coherently runon post" Justin

Hi Kevin Welcome aboard Pleased to meet you The roughhouse is a good scoot 2 t and quite quick once derestricted Dont get caught riding faster then 30mph though as your state is quite hard on those that break the laws governing scooters Most any of the 50 cc scoots whether 2 or 4 stroke can easily exceed the 30mph cap and are supposed to be registered insured and the rider have a motorcyle endorsement Do be careful Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

Welcome to both my new fellow NC scooterists here I never realized until just recently how fortunate we are that our state is as scooter friendly as it is; not only the laws but the way most roadways, especially in urban areas, are designed are much better for us than other areas of the country I've been in. Best of luck to you guys and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions!

If you want a 50 a 2T ( 2 stroke ) is the way to go . Get one with 12 or bigger wheels and avoid the 10s
