I have a problem that there is only spark on the one lead from the cdi. Have exchanged ( from a running bike) coils, spark plug leads, cdi etc. Thers are 2 wires from the cdi to the 2 coils. If I swop them arround the same wire works and the other not. I need the cdi wiring (internal) to establish how the wiring is connected inside the cdi. Any help?

I would like to see how the wiring runs inside the cdi. I am sure it has to have 2 capacitors. 1 for each wire to coil.

The digital twin spark swirl induction technology is only for better gas mileage and shouldnt make it not run if only one fires. The last time I had this problem it ended up being the Voltage regulator. Check the voltage coming out of the regulator when you try to crank it over. I did the same thing you have with a 07 XCD I was working on, Im pretty sure its the same style CDI and coil etc. Sorry to hear about the problems though and you should prepare for more coming. I would sell it asap.
