Omg you folks are victims to your own cheapness, a full face helmet costs $30 and you can get leather chaps for that much as well, sets you back $60 and we're done playing with scotch tape in the wind. Erm, I already have a full face helmet and I wear a facemask. What I was interested in was stopping the draft that comes in under the helmet from making my whole head cold but especially going over my eyes, making them water, because I don't like to wear goggles. And human ingenuity is something to be celebrated vs. dropping cash on every problem in favor of not having to think or work

When I close the vents on my helmet there is hardly any air flow across the eyes, etc so much so that the visor fogs very easily. What model helmet do you have that is so leaky?

I have an IV2 helmet; it is a bit leaky around the shield but that's not a problem because I just used thin-cut weather stripping. The air comes up under the chin. But believe it or not, using one of my balaclavas on the outside of the helmet (like a traditional wind skirt) velcroed there works like a champ. It's just tacky looking and I'd rather have something smaller. Clarity DeFog It is the only thing I've found that works on fog, and it only lasts about 2 or 3 riding hours per treatment on polycarbonate.

Last year we had an awesome fruit season, we saved the pits from the cherries that were made into pies and jams. The cherrie pits were then dried, cleaned, and placed into an old extra long sock. We put it in the microwave and use it as a heat pad, couple times recently it was so cold I used it in my lap in the car! It's soft, warm and homemade, it can hold it's heat for an hour.
