I've been have in a buzz or flutter sound coming from the motor. What would cause these symptoms? I have done a little Internet research sounds like it's the reeds.

Yes, it could be the reed valve they have a membrane and it may be stretched out and fluttering. Have you noticed any performance loss or motor acting up.

Well I just installed a new bbk and under acceleration I hear a buzz / flutter. It runs pretty good. I think I'll just get new cf reeds only 28 bucks.

I rebuilt a guys top end this summer when his reeds failed...one leaf came of and the screw that holds it on that side....tore up a very expensive Air Sal BBK.. FB and CF would just crumble and not eat up the engine...
