Taking a quick rest stop at my favorite park yesterday. Saw a (----) on a Harley pass a car in the bike lane, then ran the light red? That's awesome! Also saw a guy on a Ruckus with no helmet. Plus I've seen two other scooter riders recently with no helmets, you know if it was summertime I'd understand more, but it's chilly and NO reason to not wear a helmet. Then, I went downtown to the old industrial sector. Lots of abandoned buildings and the streets were also abandoned, and surprisingly clean (free of debris). Different from my normal ride but awesome never the less.

Scoots sure do inspire exploration. Since I started riding, I've discovered lots of things that I didn't know existed in my own small town

I have these moments in summer when I just pack my things and go on a trip. I never know where I will end up, just ride until I'm out of the city and far away from all people and the heavy traffic. Then, on my way back I ride 1/4 throttle and just enjoy the world around me. Something cagers will never get.

Since I started riding, I've discovered lots of things that I didn't know existed in my own small town I know more about my city of madison then ever before on this scoot. Its great to get around and do anything you want cheap. I see alot of harley davidsons wasting gas and trucks wasting money but I feel great on a scooter.
