Ok, so the 3-position light switch on the right handgrip is fully operational on my Bandit 260. All lights off, running lights only, and running lights with headlights.
I was under the impression that scooters imported to the USA had to have this switch disabled or removed since scooters are required to run with lights all the time.
Anyone else in the USA have a scooter that can run without lights as configured by the factory?

My electric scoot has a functional switch. On mine there is an off position, all lights except the headlights, and all lights including the headlights. It has a cyclops light in the middle so I just have that on during the day. I put a brighter LED in the cyclops light.

The right switch does not work with me, however, I have installed a trunk light with it! As long as the key is in the ignition, a LED strip provides for light in the trunk.

That's probably why the leds are so defunct. They're very low lit, probably because the line is feeding AC. Thanks for letting me know! I'll put a rectifier on it!
