I just put new rings on my 96 Dio. When it comes to putting the cylinder head gasket back on, which way does it go?

Yikes!!

There is a W stamped on to one side. Does it go up/down? Front/rear?

Please help, im so close to being done!

I don't want to just copy the old way, because I know the last guy used a shifty mechanic.
