I had a hard time finding the right starter clutch for a JCL MP 250A Linhia 257cc engine. Watch some of the sellers on Ebay ! They advertise they have the right starter clutch for this engine, And have a picture that is the right part. Then you BETTER read the wording that goes with the Advertisement. It says it has 57 teeth. Their pic and the correct part for my engine has 49 teeth. If I would have missed some of the wording and went with the picture they had and general discription I would have gotten the wrong part. And who do you think they would have blamed ? Me ofcoarse. Even though they had a picture of "MY" clutch. Luckily I counted the teeth on mine and spotted the discrepency in the wording of their add. Because as said their pic had 49 teeth as mine does. You can bet I would have eaten that one. This happened twice. Two of them (or more) on Ebay have a pic of the Yamaha /Linhai starter clutch. But in actuallity its a GY6 or something starter clutch they are selling. Anyway, AbsolutelyScooters had the right starter clutch for I believe $80 with free shipping. The guy was friendly and fast. Thank God I didn't deal with those nits on Ebay. They just just want you to buy a part. Thay don't care if its right or not. As long as they can sell you a scooter part. Then they would have said ooooh you should have known. Gemme a break
