My wife was behind me the other day in the car, and told me she couldn't really see my stoplight, so 10$ LED light from Pepboys, and 30 min later that thing is crazy bright! Attachments:

Looks good. What kind did you get? Did you have to wire it in or is it plug in? I am interested in a powerful brake light modulator for my Honda Met. I only ride during daylight hours.

I did the same thing with the bottom LED in the picture. I bought it from pepboys for 10 bucks. Now no one misses me at night!

Looks good. What kind did you get? Did you have to wire it in or is it plug in? I am interested in a powerful brake light modulator for my Honda Met. I only ride during daylight hours. It has two wires, so won't work as running lite, no plug either, so I just found the stop light wires on my scoot, cut them 2 inches pass the connector, strip and butt spliced with the new light wires, then back to old ones, connect everything, some electric tape over, voila! 30 minutes, done. Harder was to attach that light to fender, since mine is cut just below the plate, so I got 2 alum strips from some scrap I had in basement,( the screws are hidden under the plate), and attached the light to them. And yes, ltdhpp, my next things to do are LEDs all over! Just dont have time yet, everything should be done at once since I ride it every chance I got, and don't want to take the panels off and have it like this for a week :-)

Good job. I firmly believe in extra lighting. I added 3 led strips behind the lens on the back of my top case. The center strip is wired to the running light and always on. The upper and lower strips are wired to the brake light. And I just added amber strips on either side of the lid wired to the turn signals.

Wow, those strips are cool! I thought about doing it, but my trunk is removable, and I take it off all the time, so just don't want to deal with connectors. But definitely will do the strips later! Already have some, did my kitchen light (under cabinets),still have 25 ft left

Hi everyone, when I was installing my LED tail light few months ago I noticed a free (2- or 3-pin, don't remember) connector just hanging there, around the gas tank. Is it possible it's planned for a separate brake light since I want to add one but don't want to cut the existing wiring? Anyone has this connector as well?

I've got one of those, and the wires are in parallel with the brake light. I'm assuming it was intended for the optional rear trunk lighting.

Very nice, however your amber direction leds look more red to me than yellow!
