Ok I named the project Murphy Scooter because of my last name. I will build on the project overtime so I will keep adding onto this thread for years. I know I can buy another one of these things dirt cheap and prob will in the future so I keep the builds cheap. I dont dress up stuff unless I have too. Added a Filter too my stock intake, stickers, new tires and new exhaust (alot of cutting pipes custom work for exhaust) so far. I will be getting new handlebars and mirrors soon. Then I will go for Xenon Lights in the front in a month. I will post VIDEOS and PICTURES but for now I will post the pics. I am really excited about this ;D so please show me some love

What is the exhaust brand/style? Any need to change the carb jet as a result?? Looking forward to watching your transformation.

FMF exhaust nothing needed to be changed on the carb. Its a two stroke exhaust with a header. The two stroke means good backpressure on the carb it loves it!
Here is the Scooter at Ideal with the new exhaust I cant stay on the bike holding the camera while reeving the bike too much work. I will show you in the future how loud it sounds with some gas.

Depends on what one you want both work but dont use the silencer. You will need to cut the pipe on one side to fit both the muffler and header pipe on the 257cc engine I have. You will then need to drill out the stock holes on the mounting brackets. Weld if you want one bracket to the muffler I did not.

Hi Pleased to meet you. Your scoot is coming along wonderfully, keep up the great work. Take care and ride safely Yours Hank Thanks alot I installed my GPS on my scooter using the handle bar! I moved over the brake and cylinder to the right making sure it did not fall off downward. I then had to saw off the plastic shield to make it fit back over like stock . The hand break seems alittle different when squeezed now on the left side because the pipe curves a bit on the handlebar. The mirrors are smaller and alot more sleek then stock scooter mirrors and they were also installed.
