stator, usually full or half wave ?

both type exist, same for rectifier
but it's to make an order to a chinese manufacturer...
to make french happy
and we don't know how to make the difference between full and half wave stator so we don't know what we have
do somebody know ?

I don't remember anyone actually building a half wave alternator before. They always had a set of diodes to rectify the AC into DC.
I don't see how one could make it a half wave without using rectifiers.

Fanciful thinking.
But maybe one could do some tricky things. I wonder if you could reverse the alternate magnets in the ring. So as alternate coils get the field, they would generate only the voltage on the one side. For example magnets instead of N-N-N-N-N poles in the ring, you alternate the poles to N-S-N-S-N instead.

it's a big mess for our order
in fact some stator are coil winded (right word ) from left to right and other from right to left

but as i don't understand the question of the maker but maybe yours, usually the stator are winded only in one way and not with alternate direction coil ? and this make them being full wave stator ? and so, to be used with full wave rectifier ?

if i understand well, to know what we have we have to check the direction of winding of the coil OR if their is an inversion of the magnets nsnsns ?

same diretion= full wave, inversion of direction= half wave
