I'll be the first to say I do not know much about scooters. The one I have now is my first one. I have a 2002 TNG Venice 49. It seemed to somehow get a leak on the way to work this morning. I got it going a 30 MPH and then somehow it just lost all it's power and wouldn't go any faster than 10 mph if that. Kept speeding up slowly and then almost dying. Like it wasn't getting gas. I got it home and looked around and couldn't see anything leaking right away. The overflow wasn't dripping and there was no dripping on the ground. Once I tipped it over a little tho, it started really pouring out. Sadly I didn't notice until a few moments later. Lost maybe a a pint or two of gas from this. At this time I am waiting for it to cool down so I can check my lines to make sure It isn't as simple as that. But that will have to wait a few hours as I am at work at the time I am typing this post. Does anyone have any ideas of what could cause this, other than a possibly bad line?

Check the CARB BOWL DRAIN HOSE. They hang down in front of the CVT. If the hose has wire wrapped around it the END has a metal piece and the DRAIN SCREW on the end of it may have Vibrated out and fell out or if it is still on there it is LOOSE. If it is that tighten the screw and put a little Silicone on the Screw and around the Metal insert so it does not Vibrate loose again. If the screw is missing you can take the Hose off the Carb and go to the Hardware Store and get a screw that will fit it. IF NOT you can bend the HOSE and ZIP tie it nice and tightly bent to stop the Leaking. Wile

I found the source of the leak. The tank has a bad seal on the top where you fill it, that shouldn't cause any issues as long as the bike stays up. I checked my lines as all fuel seems to be flowing fine from the tank thru the petcock to the carb itself. Air flow info the carb seems to be good as well. I'm thinking it may be the spark plug or maybe the carb itself? I'm gonna have to wait until my tools are here tomorrow to check the spark plug and maybe to take apart the carb if needed. :/

Found the issues. After taking apart the carb and replacing a bad intake, it turned out the Petcock was bad. Out of all the things. T_T
