ok i have the 09 model PST150-11 i posted two pics one is of the shaft there is oil leaking from the back do i pri off the black ring and replace is that the seal ? and the other ? is if you look at the pic of the variator part you see were its grinding a circle onto the part and back of shaft in both pics should those two parts touch or is there something that goes in between them i looked on other threads couldn't find the answer for this bike just other scoots that had a gear in between them thanks for any help crystal Attachments:

The black piece inside the case and rides on the crank is the seal. Use a small pick and you should be able to get it out. Then you will need to very carefully tap a new one back in. A 1/2 drive deep socket the same size as the seal will aid in getting the seal in straight.
Nothing goes between the variator plate and the shaft. Hard to tell from the picture how bad it is burred on the crank. Emery cloth can clean the crank up if it isn't too bad. As far as the variator, now is a good time to change it. From the picture it doesn't look good.

Ok thanks i got new piece to variator got another washer to make sure it's all tight looks like then gonna take it for a ride thank u all again crystal

40 ftlb of torque and a nilock nut will help 1200 km and mine is still good
