Stock carb is ok with a Big Bore kit...BUT you MUST upjet or you will run lean and cook your engine.. Is this scoot 2stroke or 4 stroke?...worry not..we all can hook you up n help you out...

First you need to see what you have . Many have a 17.5 or 19mm carb with a 68 main jet , or mine did . I went with a 75 MJ and liked it . I put on a Uni vent filter smaller than the red Uni that is supoosed to be used with a 90 MJ and wow more bottom end and midrange . With the proper Uni it bogged a lil on the low end but could run without any sputter on top end . Will test a 100 , 110 and 120 MJ . Most 2Ts run with a 4 gram roller or slider variator weight . Mine came with 6 grams and 4 grams were too light as top end had a loss . So I mixed up 3 4s with 3 6s to equal 5 grams and liked it . I bought an unlimited RPM racing CDI with cooling fins and did not have any more top end since restriction in the exhaust . I pulled the engine apart and the exhaust port is D shaped instead of O shaped and limits the flow outwards . My 72cc is round and the ports are larger too . Replacing the exhaust with an unrestricted one will make a major improvement and require rejetting of the carb . My HP pipe sounds like a motorcross bike woohoo . Run premium gas and a full synthetic 2T oil like Motul 710 which I use or BelRay brand of oil . A NGK iridium helps it run better too BPR7HIX works for most . Now you may have a washer restricter , here is a link with info on those www.provoscooter.com/variator-deregulation and www.scootnfast.com/scooter/Tuning_mods/De-Restricting.htm
