Looks like it's just going to be the Jetmax, also looks like they're winding it up to take on the Japanese.

They let down thousands of scooter customers who will not forget what they did.
Good companies know how important communications is with their dealer network.
CFMOTO lost most of their dealers because of poor management and no communications.
And the new guys in the US have their heads up their .... go figure how this will turn things around for CFMOTO?

Man this is a hit. Not like we didn't talk about this before. Back when I was having trouble getting info about special tools and all, I was taking quite abit of heat about spouting off. If the company isn't backing up its products with mechanical support and the rep (girl) who answers the phone doesn't know squat about the product, ya gotta get the impression that things are off some. Guess the train finally caught up with the cow. Sorry for all you dealers who work so hard, you deserve better. In all the turmoil I had with the company, none of the dealers I spoke to treated me wrong. Maybe things will turn around. Chris

I just tried to find a dealer to access the parts listing for a fashion. Nothing comes up. Will fax the company a letter tonight to see what gives. Ain't looking good. Just rolled over 10.000 miles on the scoot.

Skuttadawg, I appreciate the link and will save it but that doesn't cover body parts and such for the Fashion. I went to a dealers website and now you have to call the dealer rather than looking at a schematic and picking your own parts. I sent a fax to CF-MOTO this am asking what will be the new process. The dealers that were near me,(and there were 3 of them) are no longer listed on the US CF MOTO web-site. The delaer I bought the bike from went Bankrupt several years ago so all this makes things more complicated for me. The entire thing kinda sucks but I guess thats the way it is with chinese suppliers. Lesson learned. Chris

One of the dealers I work with is just that. I spoke to her this am and she said they are tweeking the web-site. They doubled the size of the warehouse in the US and thats supposedly near completion. She seems to think things will improve. I haven't heard back from anybody at the main office as a result of my fax. Have to see how things shake out. Regardless, I appreciate the input.

....boy....talk about your "scooter-interuptous"
Not even a kiss.
BTW, Cruz (V5) arrival went from April, to July, to November....now am told March 2013.
Like I said before...They just don't get it.
CFMOTO has turned out to be just a colossal disappointment.
And they want us to take on their ATV Line???
Maybe in November... or January... no wait, how about March!

No, not writing. But even that wouldn't mean much from this bunch. Mike and I were at a dealer meeting with both the then president of CFMOTO US and the president of CFMOTO China. They both made empty promises. Guess it might be a "Chinese-thing".

Just got done with discussion with Roxanne at CF MOTO. Word is, new people in place, things are supposed to improve. IT people working on website as many dealers not listed as they should be. Have to say I was hearing some trepidation in her voice but she says things are only going to improve. No time lines set and no concrete information to pass on just that they have new people trying to turn things around and some progress has been made in the last 4 months as compared to before. In the mean time, you have to order parts through a dealer. That part of the website isn't working. Can't say as I'm optimistic but thats what I heard so I passed along. Chris

Roxanne is a doll. She's just about the only one there that "has a set". Management is scarce.

If its worth anything, I really tried to be diplomatic about the whole thing and stress how much I enjoy my scooter which is really true. The best thing for everybody would be for things to get turned around and improve. I repeatedly told her how the dealers I've dealt with and talked to have all been great about assisting in things and are trying so hard to make up for corporate short-falls. She appreciated the comments and intended to pass them along. Had to bite my tongue a few times when thinking about past conversations I had, but felt it wasn't in anybodies best interest to be short during the conversation. All in all it was a pretty decent talk and I seriously believe she wasn't blowing smoke. Am hoping things improve for everybody. Myself included. Chris

What I am told is that a large cargo shipment of CFMoto scooters was denied entry to the USA because it was not California complaint emissions BS from other companies saw them as a threat since they are so much better than most payed off officials to be the bad guy

There was a shipment that was held over by the EPA but thats been addressed in a lawsuit. People problems at the top and now there are new people in place trying to pull things together. That was the word from the girl I spoke to. Just have to wait and see. They did double the size of the warehouse for parts just recently. Heard that from several sources.

FACT: CF Moto is not withdrawing from the US. I don't know what Joel is up to, but maybe just his opinion.
FACT: CF cut 75% of dealers due to 1) they may not have wanted to sell parts 2) they may not have wanted to do warranty work 3) they didn't have finacial backing for volume 4) they did not purchase the minimum products per year. Some dealers did quit because the parts and bikes are constantly not available. It gets frustrating waiting.
FACT: There are no products being held in customs/feds. That was 2009 and all those bikes had been sold off last year.
FACT: CF doubled the warehouse for parts. They have been trying to get the part numbers into the system and the parts on the shelves. Dave's high priority is parts in the US.
FACT: Yes, alot of new people, learning as quick as they can.
FACT: The 2012 bikes were always coming in August/Sept, never were we told before that from the top people. Now they are all 2013's coming in for the fall. So says the update we received.
FACT: CF wants new dealers who sell top brands only. That way they can run the company as a top company. They want dealers that will sell parts, fix bikes, do warranty work and sell scooters. For them to be bringing in 2013's this fall, is a start in the right direction for the next year.

Glen, how does CF explain what they did to all their current customers and dealers? Six (6) to eight (8) months for customer parts and still don't have them will not cut it in this industry. Fool me once same on you, fool me twice shame on me. I will not be shamed by myself.

This isn't Glenn. He no longer works for CF Moto. I am just a dealer, as you are. I have not experienced what you are saying. I have had 2 parts back ordered and received them within 2 months. Now, with the warehouse doubled, if a part is back ordered, it is here in a few days to a week. My parts have been coming in quicker then I can get them back out to customers. I sell parts to consumers all over the USA, Aussie, DR and Cananda. I see HUGE improvements in the parts ordering system. The web site is till a problem here and there but they are tweeking it to max the convenience for dealers and consumers.

Kath, the concept they had with the parts prior to things getting off-track worked well. I know you said they are tweeking it but right now, I can't even bring up your dealer information from the CF-MOTO USA website to contact you for parts. Clicking on the map where a dealer is located does absolutely nothing. In my conversation with Roxanne at the corp headquarters she couldn't tell me when things would be back to anything remotely normal. All this is hurting you, me and CF-MOTO across the board. They should be doubling up their efforts to get the parts end back online. I'm still hoping for the best but it would be nice to see some kind of improvement soon. Just doesn't cut it. Thanks anyways for your dedication . Chris

For them to be bringing in 2013's this fall, is a start in the right direction for the next year. Most of the dealers I've spoken to are just disappointed in the broken promises that were made by CFMOTO . It's hard to be a dealer when your manufacture has no inventory. You state the company wants dealers who will sell parts, fix bikes, do warranty work and ( wait for it...) sell scooters. To that end they have discontinued all but one model, the Jet Max (whose availability is nonexistent). I've never heard of a dealer refusing to do repair work...that is unless you include drop-shippers and flea market vendors. I've been told not expect any units available til March 2013. CFMOTO wants to now turn it's back on the traditional small scooter dealers who helped them establish their presence in the US and concentrate on KYMCO's business model of aligning with a OEM motorcycle dealer, ala Honda, Yamaha, Harley. These OEM's are used to doing business via floor-planning, making money on F & I, etc. So I wonder just how CFMOTO expects to replace KYMCO at these leading OEM dealers. KYMCO has already cherry-picked these dealers. In my opinion, CFMOTO can't match KYMCO's depth or breadth. CFMOTO's recent major emphasis is directed at the ATV and UTV market. In addition they are bringing in two 650cc motorcycles. That will make just ONE scooter in their entire line up. I'm very disappointed that I no longer have any CFMOTO scooters to offer my customers. To that end, I've welcomed the SYM line to our dealership.
