Hey guys,
I am in the process of putting a 75cc BBK on my Sym DD50. I still have the stock carb on it. Do I need to go with a larger carb or will the stock carb be sufficient? Thanks, in advance, for your opinions.

Yw....just always remember....ONE upgrade part at a time...that way...when you run into a problem...the answer is easy...it was the thing ya did that caused the problem. So many on here will put on a BBK...20mm carb...upjet 10 sizes over stock...add a Hi Po cam....race CDI...tuned exhaust....etc. Then have probs getting it to run...and can't figure out why. So they have to take off all the Hi Po stuff....one piece at a time to get it to run...and most times still can't. Cracks me up... If it ain't broke..don't fix it.....

I SOOO agree. I've read so many posts of people making several changes and when their baby wouldn't work, they got frustrated at the machine. NOT the machine's fault!!!

Yes Carsadad is right stick with the carb you have just have to up-jet it, there is no need to throw you money away on bigger carb. Many will come on and tell you I have this and that but they do not answer the question they just tell you what they have which is not necessarily right. Wile

Thanks Wile for confirming what I thought was the right decision.
