whats the path that oil should flow in a 2 stroke scooter from the tank. never worked on a two stroke and my roommate got one by the oil hose connected to the carb was cut. theres also a couple hoses tucked in not connecting anything. starting from the tank when should the oil flow-- to the oil pump to the carb? two different hoses? i'm not really sure. anyone who can shine some light on this would really help. its a 2007 TNG Venice 49cc scooter. thanks!

On a 2 stroke the oil is ether injected or mixed with the gas, like a weed eater per-sa.

This is definitely an oil injected scooter. Since none of the hoses from from the oil reservoir to the carb are actually connected I am trying to figure out how to run the hoses and to where. Alternatively, is it possible to just cap off the oil reservoir and mix the oil directly in the gas tank?

You can mix the oil directly into the gasoline when you fill it if you'd like. The rubber hose from the outlet side of the oil injection pump should be connected to the intake manifold so oil can mix with the fuel as the engine is running. The other line of course goes on the oil tank for 2 stroke oil.
