So I have three different throttle cable adjusters, one at the throttle, one in the middle of the cable, and one at the carb end of the carb. How do i know which one to adjust if i need to? Should i set them all to a certain spot and start adjusting at the one closest to the throttle? Upon inspection today, i found that the nuts were loose on all three, and i'm wondering if they're ok where they are or if and how I should adjust them. Any info would be awesome! Thanks guys!

The nuts must be tight and once you set the throttle cable right you should not have to mess with it. You want 1/4 of an INCH FREE PLAY on the Throttle Grip BEFORE IT ACUTALLY pulls on the Cable to either raise the Slider(if you have a carb that the throttle cable goes into the top center of the Carb). If you have a CVK carb which has a butterfly the cable will pull on the Control wheel and open the Butterly. Wile

Thanks wile! This is on my new scoot, which is a 2t so it does go into the top of the carb.

Yes you want just a little free play so when you let go of the throttle it completley closes. It has a spring inside to push the Slide back down to the Idle position. That is what makes your throttle snap back from the open position. Wile
