Hello all, i am new to scooters, used to be pretty big into motorcycles(still love them), just saw a buddy riding a ruckus, and a few other scoots around town and decided i should look into it.
so instead of going the regular route of just buying a complete scooter, i decided to wait till someone on craigslist decided to sell what they had, i picked up the better part of a scoot for a little over 300bones, it still needs a few important pieces before i will be able to put it on the road.
Long story short, i love how easy to modify, and what you can do with scooters.
EDIT: scooter i got was a 2006 avanti epsilon 150cc, it's really just frame, engine, harness, and wheels right now, needs lots and lots, once i get the camera i will start a slow build thread(very slow, dont really get as much as I would like from army retirement)
thank's for reading, I will post up pics as soon as i find my camera

I agree, scooters are very labor friendly and the cost of the parts is really nice. just one motorcycle part would cost more than my scooter lol.
