fixin to rebuild the Linhai 300 .my 1st steps is getting to the sending unit wow wish me luck any good ideas let me know Attachments:

yep , that has to come out, the tank is one of the first things put in the bare frame, just cause you want it to come out some other way doesnt mean it will.

6 bolts 2 on top in the dip part of the tank,2 up fron by radiator then there is a under carridge bar take those 2 bolts loose move it up like 1/2 inc n the tank will drop low enough to get sending unit out.once you pull sending unit out there is a lil clip in swing arm of sending unit pry it loose about a 1/4 of n inch and the swing arm float will move freely in stall back in and wham good to go took a lil patience but got it done :
