Aeolus 300 Trunk Rack Install

I'll start by saying that I have used the google search function of the forum... I use it exclusively over the other one as it usually helps me narrow down what I need.

I have removed the "tail" ? piece and flipped it over and am trying to install the trunk rack that I got from sunright.

As seen in the video below of the bracket and the trunk- I do not believe the correct bolts for fastening the bracket to the scooter are there. I believe I only have the hardware for fastening the trunk to the rack.


I found this post scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=200cc&thread=10194&post=130090 which 'may' indicate which bolts I need to purchase from the hardware store, but when I put in a search at the hardware store (home depot or lowes) online... for 8x25x30 mm nothing comes up, or just things that look too big come up because they contain the same numbers in the description.

Has someone else been down this road, and if so would you be able to give me a link to the bolts that should work from one of the hardware stores?

I have also seen the info for part numbers to order from sunright... but don't want to wait that long if I don't have to.

If you find a larger ACE hardware store the are much more likely to have the bolts you need. They will have them in bins.
