I need help please! I purchased my road warrior last june and it has never run properly not sure what the problem is. when rideing I cant seem to get up to speed the engine winds out in every gear feels like the problem is coming from the rear end. I am not a mechanic and this is my first bike. I live in a small town in alaska and we donot have anyone here who knows anything about these bikes. I have been trying to get some help but the people I bought it from are no longer in business and would not help me when they were. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions? I really need some help, I have heard that others have had problems with their road warriors as well. If someone could please help me to trouble shoot maybe I could find a place to order new parts and get this thing going. Thank you so much for your time and look forward to hearing from you soon.

How many cc's? what engine do you have? how many miles on this scoot? When you say you can't get the speeds  does it loose power  or boggs, Explain what it does, I know am asking alot of questions  but I'm trying to understand what the problem could be. |

They are 250ccs actual displacement 248, and out of the crate they only do about 50mph. They are underpowered for the size of the Trike. A coupe of other folks have them and were very disapointed. They are Sharp looking got to say that but slow. Here is one that has the same TRIKE: scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=threewheelers&action=display&thread=50188&page=3Now back to your problem, you have to try and explain how it acts it could be that your valves need to be adjusted UNFORTUNALLEY it is a TWO cylinder job so both heads have to be adjusted. Have you checked the Oil in the Gear Box? Also since you live where it is COLD it may need to be richened up. In cold weather the motors need more fuel. Here is the Trike: Wile  |
