Hi Every one. I have a 2011 Jonway YY250T and I want to change the rear gear oil, but I have not been able to find the drain plug or a fill plug for the oil. I found a rubber stopper that is located half way up the wheel on the left side (fill plug?). But I have not been able to find a drain plug anywhere. I did find a hole on the bottom that has threads with no bolt of plug in it. I can send pics if it would be more helpful. Thank you for any help.

If you have a fill cap on top that unscrews, the drain plug is right under you cvt cover, next to that open area that has not bolt in it. mine take no more then 6oz of gear oil. will post picture later.

Go to Scootdawg home page, Then Scootdawg's How to and Information Database, then 250cc engine and transmission, and finally down to post titled, Successful gear oil change. I think you find needed answers there, along with great photos....scoot safely...Bob

carlson, wiles picture is correct for the 244. a few things to keep in mind: do the final drive oil change on the centerstand. placing the rear wheel on the ground will allow almost all of the oil to drain. placing the front wheel on the ground will allow about 10% more oil to be added.
draining while the oil is warmed after a decent ride will make the job much quicker. do the change when there isn't a lot of wind.
check out the drained oil, it should look almost like the day you put it in. if you notice any "glitter" in the oil then the final drive needs serviced, badly. do not neglect this sign.

I changed mine recently, I put in some 80w-90 gear oil. It's been fine ever since. And it was fine before that, I just changed it for maintenance.
