Well I had to lay my scoot down today . I just pulled into the parking lot at my Dr.'s office , and this IDIOT decides to back out of his parking space buy just pushing his clutch in no back up light or anything he didn't even look behind him. luckily I was paying attention or he would have backed right over me. I hit the brakes and laid on the horn then laid my scoot down. the guy just asked my if I was OK and drove off.didn't even get out of the car. I didn't get any road rash just pissed off and I broke the rear brake lever on my scoot. So remember watch out for cagers in parking lots too.

Yeah, I don't know what pisses me off more. The jerks that plain don't look or the ones that look you square in the eyes and pull a left turn in front of you, and then look like it is YOUR responsibility to get out of THEIR way. Always, always have to be aware. Here in West Mich. we have some of the very worst drivers in the country! What I'm finding out here is...if it looks like a scooter, most people THINK they have to get in front of you. No matter if you ride a 50cc or up to a 600cc. I've been riding a little over the speed limit and still have cagers try to pass me on the right for no reason other than I'm riding a scooter, even though it has a legal license plate and I'm riding on a two lane city street, in a school zone to boot! A few days ago a kid in a car took out a motorcycle club from Muskegon, MI when they we riding in Wisconsin. One died, many in critical condition. www.woodtv.com/dpp/news/local/muskegon_county/Vigil-set-for-Musk-biker-killed-in-Wis

I've had my scooter now for a little more than 2 months. The first month, 3 teenagers walked out in front of me! One actually looked straight at me and did it anyway. They were not at an intersection and I had to slam on my brakes. The second month, I was in the right hand turning lane at a red light behind a car. When the light turned green a car in the "going straight" lane cut in front of me and made the right turn! Good thing I drive expecting people to do dumb things! How do you miss a white scooter with a powder blue stripe, and a bigger than average woman on it?

One day they will drive backwards like this over a toddler! Then they won't be like 'hey, are you ok?', they will be going straight to the brick!
