My scooter electric starts easily and idle ok. Recently when I start it in the morning, its fine but when I turn the throttle a little to move, the revs seems to slow a little and when I were to turn the throttle a little more, it would just stop. Before it stops, it would give a plob sound. Not a large pop. If i were to back off the throttle, it would idle fine. It would do this a couple of times, and eventually allow the bike to move forward, and when it moves a little, its fine and does not have this problem anymore even on restarts. The oil I am using now is 5w-30.
THe funny thing is that it does this the first time I ride the bike for the day. Insuffcient warm up? It used to be able to start even in winter.
Could it be that the airbox filter or carb is dirty? but then again, why would it work well for the rest of the day?

The carb is probably set up for Cooler weather Now that the temp is warmer it is getting to much fuel. You may want to check the Air Filter and Clean it to allow more air in. Wile

I have replaced a new filter, the problem is still there. I do not know how to remove the spark plug though I have the tool for it. Will try and figure how to. This is a 2 month old plug.

Sigh... you Sir are in for a learning curve. The good news is that it's not as complicated as you might think. If you can replace a hard drive or a video card your more than capable of getting the skills you need. Anyone here can likely help you, just ask questions. I'd suggest you start slowly gathering up some tools, you don't need many.
