Finding this site was the best thing that's happened to me so far this year. on Aug. 2010 I bought a 2009 Flyscooter, La Vie with 26 miles on it. I've had a blast on it every since. This last winter I started having problems, she didn't want to start cold. usually drain the battery so I bought a trickle charger. Anyway, being my first 150cc GY6, I've had several larger bikes through out my 57yrs and I love riding, but this little scoot (I call her my flygirl) is pure fun, not to mention therapy for stress or anything else that might be bothering me. Finding this site and all the helpful information on it I removed the plastic and all to get to and remove the carb & intake system, dismantled and cleaned everything, the carb using the thread "Carb Cleaning 101" thank's Big Guy. Got up this morning and put everything back together, I had drained and refilled with fresh premium and turned her over, once the fuel reached the carb she started right up and runs like brand new YEEHAWWW!!!!! Well, got to get to bed, got a lot of riding to catch up on. I'll definitely be around here for a while to come. Talk at ya all later. Rex ;D

Hello Rex, and welcome aboard. I'm a new member myself, and I'm amazed at the wealth of knowledge available on this site. Found this forum back in February and have spent hours and hours reading old posts, the how to tutorials and such...learning alot. Been spinning wrenches most of my 64 years, (on cars, lawn mowers, tractors, 18 wheelers, even motorcycles when I was a youngster) but never on scooters. When you get into something unfamiliar, like variators, rollers vs sliders, etc, is nice to have this information source available.....Again, welcome Rex.......Scoot Safely.....Bob
