Hi! Grandpascoot here...don't believe I've introduced myself yet. Retired WASP, 76 years old, riding cycles and scooters for about 50 years. Background in auto/cycle repair, parts biz. Switched to scooter after dumping my Yamaha and almost not being able to pick it up again.(some reality check!) Went for a gy6 Chinese clone scooter mainly due to price and free delivery. Big mistake! Been rebuilding it for the last year or so. Well, you get what you pay for! I'm used to Vespa workmanship. Some letdown. Its working now so on to the road. Keep on scootin'.

HI & WELCOME
now now, dont be dissing chinese scoots--lol it all depends on the rider. if u do a proper PDI etc etc they usually run well for a long time but u being in the auto biz should know that.
of course u are gonna have some probs. but if u stay on top of Prevent Maint. things usually work out.
welcome again have fun and keep both wheels on the road
