I'm certain that better starting, idle, a mpg will be the result of the better spark when coupled with an Iridium sparkplug. Since I'm installing it on the drag bike I can't say I'll be able to notice since I'm not doing a before and after on this one. Rest assured this is the finest coil I've ever seen for the GY6.

I'll be interested to hear what that does for you. Dudley, First of all the coil looks awesome! Visually it is a thicker and "beefier" looking coil. I installed it along with an iridium plug and the results are great. My scoot has always started real easy so I cannot say if there was any improvement there but it idles beautiful and acceleration is much better. I can actually make my rear wheel "chirp" if I hit the throttle too quickly from a complete stop. It also makes my head snap back. I don't believe my top speed has changed or if it has it is not much but than again I was not expecting that. It is too early to tell but I do expect my MPG to improve a little as well. This coil is well worth the money!!! by the way...if you buy one, be sure not to lose the tiny metal cap that comes with it. This attaches to the end of your spark plug and the boot will not fit on without it. --Jim |
