my 2008 peace sport 150cc has over 21000 miles on it. Just bought it from the orig owner who did nothing but simple maintenance to it. Still runs pretty good!

i had a 2008...or 07, cant remember for dead sure but wanna slide towareds 08... shanghi shenke hornet 50cc 2 stroke.... i got it at 4000 miles, was very poorly taken care of, lasted to about 5500 when i replaced piston and cyl, then the rear end gears went out, because of berrings...i didnt think about the berrings so i replace gears and they failed in a week, i sold it and the guy has rebuilt the entire drive, from the variator back....he has about 18000 on it now, runs incredible,,,even when i had run on it after a stock rebuild, it would run over 50mph gps verified. those lil 2strokers are nutz
my current 09 jonway 150cc M80 has about 1100 on it and runs great, with the exception of the stock muffler is falling apart

My neighbor has a 2008 Xingyue XY50QT (same as my two) and he just turned 15000+ miles on it - two belts, tires, several chokes, plugs, CDI , Batteries, but nothing major. He rides it to work 20 miles (RT) each day. He thinks key was to break it in right with quality oil etc. It's ready for rings in my opinion but he's still riding it every day. It's been an excellent value for him. (hope mine do as well - 100 miles each on mine now)

I suspect that most of these scooters have far less miles on them than indicated. We all know about the accuracy of chinometers - says 60, you're really doing 50. Odometer runs off the same gearing...

Whew...sure had me..I was thinking they just over spent..

My 2008 Bashan 150 had the motor replaced around 4000, the new motor was still running at 19000 when speedometer/odometer cable broke, and ran another 5000(guesstimated), when it quit. Just routine maintenance. Current 150cc has 8000 with normal maintenance.

56,000 miles on my Burgman 650. Never a hiccup from the engine or drivetrain. On third set of tires using Bridgestone OE and a new set of brake pads at 45K. My 150CC Flyscooter hasn't been touched since my Burgman came home.

Over 51,000 miles on my 2007 650 Exec. Just put a new rear tire on last month. Bridgestone Protenza, got over 35,000 miles on the last one ( car tire ). Brake pads at 40k, have not checked valves or replaced spark plugs yet. My commuter, 50 miles a day round trip. A lot cheaper than the truck at 18 MPG, still getting 50+MPG even at 70 MPH.
