You would have to op the top on the carb and see what the diaphragm looks like. You can't tell by the body of the carb...

What is wrong with the diaphragm?... it just need a polish with a rouge cloth... yes, i did not wanna say that, but true. also sometimes on this carb the dia. being off a mm when screwed back down can throw of the engine. If I had not tried to improve mine (carb) when i first got my bike, except for two break switches I never tightened, i could say i have had 9000 trouble free miles on a xingyue. maybe you know something we don't but there's mine on this. good luck

What is wrong with the diaphragm?... it just need a polish with a rouge cloth... I suspect that maybe it's not flexible enough, and cause the engine to get choked for a second when i pull the throttle fast all the way. I checked all other things, like vacuum hoses, manifold, adjusting the mixture screw, replaced plug, cleaned carburetor. also checked the float level.

sprocket, from your experience, the diaphragm i found on ebay, will fit my carburetor?
Thank you.

I would say it should fit...but it is just a guess...it certainly looks the same...
But diaphragms don't loose flexibility, they normally tear or develop pinholes
I don't think that is your problem

And I don't think that ebay diaphragm will fit you carb. It looks like the black one with a metal needle retainer, and yours is grey with a plastic needle retainer that is peculiar to the Keihin carb. They don't interchange.
The best remedy is a new carb, for about $35, you get a new diaphragm wrapped in a carburetor. Sounds like a good deal to me, then you have a complete set of spares to boot.Just install the new one and see if ti restores performance.
That little divot at the bottom of the piston of your diaphragm is another difference, so look for that.

Thank you.

It doesn't have to be a Keihin carburetor any 24 mm will fit. ALL Chinese carbs are Keihin knock-offs... Even if it says Keihin in the casting they usually aren't...unless you can match a serial number...
True Keihin carburetors run about $100+++

Sorry guys, but mine came with a Keihin Carb and has the Diaphgram with the metal Clip with 5 slots on the needle and is held by a little bracket and Screw. I also even changed it using one just like the one on ebay when I was testing things out moving the needle up and down. I have three of those Diaphgrams with the needle set at different slots when I was testing.
I am talking with experience with these carbs and diaphgrams. But it is up to you what you want to do, you can also just go and buy a new carb.

Thank you.

They are all standard metric threads... try the hardware store

Hi,
Problem is, that all hardware stores have the threads size, but the screw head is a little bigger. i'm trying to find the exactly same head size too. i want it to be original as possible :-)
