New guy from fort lauderdale, have owned my scooter for almost 3 months now and rode a total of 1/4 mile or so around the neighborhood before the scoiter stalled out and refused to restart.
I have a 2008 kaitong velocity 150cc with about 3500 miles and apparently a bad stator and little knowledge on how to replace it.
Hope to learn a much as I can.

are you sure with the stator??,,,,stators seldom bogs down,,,might wanna check the fuel system first. from the gas tank to the carb.

if you have no spark, the cdi may be shot. Stator isnt usually a problem unless something comes loose.

check and makes sure you have gas though, the fuel senders on those have a bad habit of getting stuck.

yup, checked fuel, cdi 3 times, had a scooter guy take a look and tested for spark with brand new tested cdi, wire, new plug and no spark.
