Just working on a customer's scooter, Honda Spree. He lost the key and unplugged the kill switch to get it running. Of course, without an ignition switch there are no turn signals or running lights. I'm sure it's a basic connection, like red(hot) -> black for lights, disconnect black/white stripe -> green for kill switch.
Red and black/white stripe paired together Green wire to bullet connector Black wire to bullet connector
I wired the red to black and got the blinkers working (steady on but solenoid might be fused) but the fuse blew, and I have no more spares, so I don't want to test it that way anymore.
Don't have time to go looking for a wiring diagram.
Just wanted if someone knew off the top of their head to wire in a flip switch to turn on the ignition and not blow out anything. With no key I can't turn the igntion on and check continuity. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I had it right.
ON THIS SCOOTER
4 wires going to the switch: Green (to CDI kill) Black/white stripe (+12v ignition) Red (+12v directly from battery) Black (accessory +12v)
To remove the switch from the equation I need to cross some wires.
With ignition key OFF The Black/White stripe was shorted to the green wire. The red and black wires were open.
With ignition key ON I'm assuming the Black/White stripe was open and the green wire was open. I'm assuming the red and black wires were shorted.
I guess when I blew the fuse a loose wire grounded the +12 to Green ground and I wasn't paying attention.
I wired a manual switch between the Red (+12v) and the black accessory light wire and everything works great!
The ignition keyswitches for the current Sunny and Handsome Boy body styles have 5 wires (same but two green wires) so they were no help.
