I never noticed the wind probably because I have had windshields on all my cycles and scooters. Now on my electric scoot the windshield is quite short and the scooter is so quiet that I notice the wind going by my ears quite plainly at 25 mph. I am going to get ear plugs and maybe a more effective windshield.

I rode the Burgman and Morphous today and noticed the wind noise. I guess it was just the silence of the electric scooter that made the wind noise stand out.

My Hyosung and the wifes Kymco both have short windshields. The wind noise is quite loud wearing a 3/4 helmet going more then 30 MPH.

just as you should only brush and dental floss the teeth you want to keep.
only plug the ears you want to hear with.

Like the car commercial with the dog that has the cone on it's neck... turn it around for aerodynamics!

I wear them every time. I have custom made ones. I started wearing them after I read that the wind noise on a helmet at just 30 mph is over 80db's, it did not matter what type of helmet was used.
