Hey guys,i have a question about my gy6 125cc XINLING TXM 125 how the electricity makes the chain ?
As i spot : when i turn the ignition key,it's just in state that power comes from battery,when i start cranking engine with electrical starter it turns the stator and stator generates power which goes to CDI and to spark plug ?
Just check this image below: would it be possible to determine if the stator works by checking those wires getting connected to CDI ? My idea is to take a multimeter, connect it to those wires and when cranking engine see if electricity comes out. By the way - is this the real GY6 125cc engine diagram ? I wonder so,cause my scoot has no side-stand option + trunk light or trunk switch or either that side stand switch.
Green = Ground Red = +12v Battery Black = +12v Switched (ignition)
Off the stator - Yellow = AC (1 = half wave, 2 = full wave, 3 = 3 phase) White = AC - Lighting tap (not present in 3 phase, lighting tap provided from rectifier)
Red/Black = CDI Charge (can exceed 50v AC)(Only connected on AC fired ignitions) Blue/White = Trigger Coil (harness colors vary)
Black = usually ground, though could be a phase in some oddball 3-phase systems (especially if a green is present) Green (if present) = Ground.
See how easily it is to get confused? 50cc is the same except white is the charge power and yellow is the lighting tap, and it's almost always half wave.

marklorenzi: I just bought one of the Fleetwoods. They look like a clone of the Honda XRM's they sell overseas. It is in transit now and I should get it this week. I will try to post my experience here. Call me the guinea pig hahaha.
