I'd like to put larger tires on my 150cc Adventure scooter, I believe the stock tires are 130/60-13's.
Anyone know the largest tires that can be put on the stock wheels without modification? Ideally I'd like more tread making contact with the pavement, and forgive me if I sound like a novice to tire sizes, but that is exactly what I am.

This may help.. www.bikebandit.com/scooter-tires/c/a642336a4Scooter tires aren't like car tires, they are designed to have a small profile on the pavement and the curved design allows for better traction on corners when the bike is leaning...

the largest tire I have seen for a 13" scooter wheel is 150/70/13. I was actually planning on going to one for the rear tire on my scootercycle. A little more meat in the back and a little more cushion. Here is a couple of tire options in that size: www.motorcyclemaniacstore.com/search.php?mode=search&page=1I plan on going with the Avons personally.

What is MOST important about scooter tires is the grade or speed letter code.
Most stock tires are 'P' grade and if you replace them you should get 'S' grade.
