i dunno does anyone have any thoghts on what i could do to make it faster? personely i dont think its the weights i tryed to run the stock ones again 7 g and it wouldent get over 20mph tryed using only 3 of the stock rollers got me back to 30 tryed using 3 of the 4g sliders got realy high revs but it took forever to build them and was very slow. ive been thinking about the 80cc kit but i still dont want to register it thogh i may still do it and not tell anyone.

From what you are saying and tried, the motor does not have a lot of power when under load. Have you checked your compression? And yes, more CCs will produce more power and torque. Lefty

It may sound stupid but we had a shop owner here get a box of new scooters that would not go as fast as the previous identical one did, he worked on them forever until he changed the oil. The new ones had much thicker oil and that slowed them down. What oil are you running.

Also i understand yours has 12" tires and his 10" tires and because of that your scoots have different Gears in the Tranny which has nothing to do with power but the one with the 12" tires will almost everyday outrun the 10" tire unless taller gears are put in. Lefty But that should mean the smaller tires have a lower gear ratio and should be faster off the line. I suggest that you restore it back 100% to as it came from the factory and then make one upgrade at a time and see how it affects the scooters performance.

The problem with that is he is complaining about both TOP END and BOTTOM END. He also says it is slow to get his RPMS to CLIMB which points to the motor not produceing power. If his motor was producing enough power to pull the load it could be good starting off but he still would not outrun the 12" tires. That is why I suggested to first check his compression and then to keep up with the other if all equal it would need taller gears. Either that or tell his friend to slow down to his level ;D Lefty

that would explain why people think im lying or at least that my speedo is lying. neither of which are true. it did 50 from the get go. it still does 50 but it hauls ass instead of kinda lazily getting there like it used to.
i'll let ya'll know when we get compression numbers off of both scooters. cuz his should still be faster than it is.
