This week it was just a leisurely drive thru the county. Met at Mcdonald's Corner of 27 and Anthony Blvd. Drove all the way to Ohio to look at the wind farms. We went thru Poe, Decatar, Hoagland, Burnettsville. Monroeville, and up to Ohio. The wind Farms are hard to see in the background but that's that is as close as we could get. And my camera is not very good. Me under the Ohio sign marking the Indiana Ohio boarder Wind Farm behind me. Dan you were missed.. but we all drove with our turn signal on in honor of you.... LOL just kidding Grand total of miles driven today was 79 miles.. Iron butt Jr. lol

I would love to be part of that club. How I go about being a member ? Hi Hulk We would love for you to join the club. No membership or dues are required, we all get together at the Mcdonalds on 27 and Anthony every Sunday and have a blast. So the only cost to you is your fuel and what ever you buy at Mcdonalds. Hope to see you there :-)

Thanks Larry, I would love to be there this Sunday, but my scooter is down. Its not charging my battery up. I want to get the stator and volt regulator replace. But hard to find a scooter shop here in Fort Wayne that works on Japan scooters. Do you know any shops around new haven or fort wayne that works on Japan scooters ?

Sorry to hear about the scooter problems. They happen to all of us sooner or later, I do scooter repair as well as john from Adventureous Scooters, He works out of his home and is a CoSponcer of the Scooter Club.. I don't mean to plug John or myself on the forum but you asked me, and i have to be honest. You could also try a Honda, or Yamaha shop we have several here in Fort Wayne.
If you would like john or my info send me an email and ill be happy to provide that for you. Take care and hope you get it fixed soon.

Well I met Larry today!! He is very smart man and nice !!! He came rolling up to my house around 2:20pm. From that point on, it was like watching a artist in motion . Turn out it was my front brake causing my rear brake lights to stay on full time. Because of that, it was draining my battery. Shook his hand and waved goodbye as he rode off into the sunset like the lone ranger ! P.S. SEE YOU GUYS TOMORROW MORNING!!!!!! weeeeeee!!

Good vid of the FWSC crew. Love what larry said about not needing a map. So true for the most part just drive and have fun riding and not worrying about gas mileage. As far as the cop/speed thang goes, i'll bet it's not too bad when you all ride in a group as aposed to just one person as the potential of getting picked on. I have no problem with law informant doing there job. But a few miles over, and on a scoot to boot... Oh joy what a bad ass PD..... tax dollars at work i suppose?

Thanks too Larryball, The Sunday ride I regard as just a day to relax and enjoy riding with friends with a mutual interest in scooters... As for the PD Ohhh well, nothing I can do but move the meeting place.. If New Haven wants to be that way, we can go else where, I really can't have our meeting place where driving there is going to cause trouble.. It's a shame as I liked the McDonald in New Haven. I guess also that's some of the benefits of the scooter club, making new friends with a mutual interest in scooters, Helping new riders learn to operate there scooter safely on the road with other traffic, sharing all different kinds of information, such as parts, mods, seeing the performance of different makes. Low cost the entire trip cost me 6 dollars for all day. And above all having fun.. ;D ;D ;D

Can someone help me out with hooking up my stator? I got a 8 pole stator and cant get it to charge my battery. My tail lights and accessories work but I cant get the headlight to work without blowing out the bulb.
I'll pay whoever can fix it. I would love to get this done before the Gasoline Rally August 26.

Hi 94Civiccx I'm thinking your regulator is not working properly, the blowing lights is a give pretty strong clue to that, and also will probably solve your charging problem. I know on Chinese bikes, the regulators put out pretty dirty voltage going to the headlights. Causing them to blow early and often. it's entirely possible your having a similar problem with your Japanese bike. Feel free to contact me thru the scootdawg email in private and I will be happy to help you get it fixed... May I ask where the Gasoline Rally is being held ? August 26 is on a Friday and ill probably have to work. But other members may be interested.

Yea all of my ruckus buddys are going to be there including a 101cc two stroke ruckus. It's a three day event and we will be riding the Indy 500 and Moto GP tracks. We will also be riding around Indy all day throughout the three days too. Should be a blast but I need to fix this s*** first. Larry, I have been trying to get the lights hooked up correctly for the longest time. I have a 11 pole wiring harness but I got a 8 pole stator and regulator. The bike was wired this way when I bought it but I got a new motor and have to re wire up the stator and regulator and I'm all lost. If you could help me out, my bike is located in the Jefferson Point area.

Iam so happy !! I finally found another scooter shop in Fort Wayne, Indiana that works on Japan and Chinese scooters!! Now I can stop going to that other scooter shop. They were a nightmare!! Meaning crappy work, and they kept your scooter up to 2 weeks or longer! But anyway, here you go Rick.. This the name of the other scooter shop I found... ADVENTUROUS SCOOTERS. And their phone number is 260-433-3045. I like them because their prices not as high as the other shop, they do good work, and they fix your scooters same day or next day !!!
