I am a new Scooter Dawg and I need some help with a 2004 Geely model JL50QT-21 that was recently given to me. If anyone has this model or knows someone that does. Please respond. I need some advise regarding the carburetor.
Thanks,

Got you covered in the 2 stroke section. Just post in one place, sometimes we are slow, but someone usually shows up to help.

had a geely a little while back. first thing i found was that if it sat any mare than a week or so you had to drain the carb bowl as it would get gunky real quick and not start.

I did remove the carb, and found it full of oil. Don't now how that happened but once cleaned it cranked, but needs the carb adjusted I think. Any ideas on the two jet settings? There is a large head screw adjustment and a small head screw adjustment on the right side of the carb. That's to the right sitting on the scooter. I have no idea what the jets do. One might be for high speed and the other low speed.

I should have asked where to post my message first for the best results. I sent Aaron a message about a specific post and he advised. Thanks! Can you advise me how to do a quick search on a specific member. Aaron said he knew of two members that had Geely's. Thanks for your help!

I got my start on a Geely but she was a 4T. There is a great Geely group on Yahoo where you can dig up all sorts of info. Getting the 2T's honed in is a little trickier and there was much discussion there a couple years ago so do a search of their forum. In particular, pay attention to Perry M. has to say about adjusting the 2T carbs.
