Well so much for lasting a long time.. The guy I sold my velocity to came over last night with a problem. If you have trouble with your turn signal lights and the little green lights in your dash staying on you have a problem with your ALARM SYSTEM We had to disable the alarm on it and all is well in the big city LOL.. So if you have trouble with it you will know what it is..
I know that these scoots are not the greatest out there but for the money they are fun. I had a lot of fun with mine and when I sold it it did not owe me a thing..

you should of had a key fob that has the alarm buttons on it They were black and silver the ones I had

Drove it twice to top speed of 41MPH. I'm 156Lb and i think i can top 45MPH with wind help and more airodinamic position
You should check it vs a GPS i doubt it's really going as fast as the speedo says they are usually always wrong especially on cheaper chinese scooters |

The guy that bought mine got a ticket early in Dec for doing 50 in a 25mph so I know what mine did, HEHE The thing is he knew he was flying low and he knew the police were running radar in town so he should of slowed down.

Bill I don't have a radar nor a GPS but I take your word. I think that 5 mph is not that bad as I thought before. So my top speed is 42- 5= 36 mph which I reached only ones when I got the scooter. Also, your friend going 50 with this scooter wow. Now I bet you if he spread his hands he would be able to take off the ground. |

Definitely get a new variator fan. Yours is missing some fins, clean out the fins if you can find them. Without adequate circulation you could end up snapping belts quicker than you expect.
