chromestarhustler - A budget fuel injection system would be awesome, but finding a system that is correct for scooters, and one that would be reliable and affordable hasn't presented itself yet. We've been looking for people who make scooter correct parts so that we could put one together ourselves, but so far no such luck. This one is harder than it seems.
Braveheart - We are working on a redesign of our website to make it more user friendly. As far as part descriptions, what information would you like to see that would make things easier for you? Honestly we'd rather see you keep your business in St. Pete too, but with one of the dealers here instead of direct from us (they all purchase from us), and that way you also support the local scooter knowledge base.
I'm all for doing whatever I can to help out, but we rely on the dealers to provide information to us about our parts and their applications; hence we are always looking for feedback, both positive and negative. We always recommend that our customers hit up a dealer first if they have one close by.
We are also working on adding more performance parts, and making them more easily searchable on our website, it'll all be part of the redesign. We have however purposely avoided website "bling". Anyone can make a website look good, but we want ours to load fast and be easy to use, that way you guys can spend more time riding.

I just made my first order today for a ignition coil, I have spent a week looking for one around town so i read your reviews on here and gave it a shot. 30 minutes later i got a call because i selected 3 day select delivery, but i was close enough to get it in 3 days standard. Saved me 8 bucks on shipping, its not alot but im definatly impressed!

I would like to see a big bore kit for the CF Moto 150 liquid cooled motors. I think the stock cylinder for the CPI GTR200 would work but I haven't been able to find one anywhere. Also I would like to see 20x15mm roller weights

Just a bit of praise for you folks. Bought a few parts from you guys a few weeks ago, went through the whole checkout and pay part. I selected 2nd day delivery. The next day I received A e-mail saying that they shipped it normal and with how close we are together it will be here same time and like $17 cheaper and behold it was right there the next day, packed well, priced well, and just what I needed. Have ordered A few other times and will keep ordering.

Just a little hint about what is in the short term pipeline here at PartsForScooters.com....

Just a little hint about what is in the short term pipeline Consider a cheaper USPS bubble envelope shipping option on small parts orders (like variator weights). GY6-B engine 2-bolt valve cover gaskets are still hard to find (for 16" wheel scooters).

Do you have any exhausts that fit the 16" scooters for sure? Mostly the Xingyue ITA150. I know MRP makes a special header, is there any way I can order just the MRP header with a muffler of a performance exhaust? The difference with the Xingyue is the bolts are set at a different angle than most other scooters so if I was to buy a regular exhaust I would have to modify it myself.

MATT, Great job on the retro performance exhaust. It's well built, looks great and sound good too. And thanks to you and your crew for the always excellent service on large or small orders. P.S. Sorry no pics, my old cheap chinese camera had a serious malfunction and the exploded when it hit the side of the building. ;D

I know that sometimes parts for scooters is out of stock on parts. I tried qualityscooterparts.com when I was looking for a 50cc carb and it was at my door step the next day.

harold - Sure, but I think you'll find that the volume of our selection far outweighs much of the competition.
Looks to me like QualityScooterParts.com is simply GMW moving out their dealer support stock. Probably a good place to source parts that are also from the GMW line. I hope their dealers are cool with that however. I used to run dealerships, and if I had to compete with my own OEMs, I know I wouldn't have been too happy. OEM parts support is a large driver of what to sell at the dealer level after all.

Been using you guys for my main supplier of scooter parts at my shop for close to a year now. I am very pleased but i would like to see more of the common parts in stock. There has been a couple instances where i have not been able to get parts since they were out of stock for quite a while. Ex would be complete engines, shocks, starter clutches come to mind off the top of my head.
Also i would like to see a better selection of jets for stock carbs and aftermarket alike. There are times i put a pod filter or exhaust on a stock scoot and since the customer doesnt want to go all out for a performance carb i am stuck trying to rejet the stock carb with limited jet options.

A GOOD OIL COOLER WOULD AND SHOULD BE THE MANDATORY LAST STEP OF A GOOD PDI
there is not any single real early brake down issue with the gy6 that is not most times HEAT related.
the ncy oil cooler is a rip off of the first order, any one who steps up to bat with a working two way drain plug attachment for a oil cooler will change the world of scooters
where talking about a 30.00 part, the hoses and radiator can be bought at any junk yard.
THIS WOULD PUT YOU ON THE MAP WORLD WIDE.

TERRA NUVO - Well, here is the deal. We don't make parts here at PartsForScooters.com. We are a multi-line parts distributor, so we source the parts and purchase in volume because sometimes that is the only way to obtain the parts, and then we resell the parts to our customers. We have several part manufacturers that we deal with that can make parts for us, and we can ask them to make a part such as an oil cooler setup, but we really haven't seen the demand for such a part. We also haven't had many customers request it, so unless we hear about it, we just don't know.
If there are a bunch of you that want an oil cooler setup, let me know and I'll see if I can't source one for you that is a bit more affordable. Be forewarned however that I don't think there is any way possible that this will end up being a $30 part. Obviously we aren't sourcing parts used, so our cost reflects this. If I had to hazard a guess, made in China this would probably be between $80-100.
monkeywrenchcycles - Thank you for your support. We are doing much right now to improve our stocking situation, and you'll see that reflected in our parts supply in the next couple of months. We created a completely new purchasing system and are making it work for us just now.
As far as carb jets are concerned, if you could give me an idea of what kind and shape jets (you know, like Mikuni or Keihin Hex or whatever you see a need for) you most commonly have a need for that we don't carry that would help immensely. I most certainly would work to get these into our stock and we do sell tons of carb jets and know that there is always a demand for these type of parts.
Thanks, Matt

P.S. I'd still like to know about magnetic drain plugs for a GY6. These engines are aluminum. Let me know when they make an aluminum magnet.

P.S. I'd still like to know about magnetic drain plugs for a GY6. These engines are aluminum. Let me know when they make an aluminum magnet. The cases and piston are aluminum but the Rings, cylinder sleeve, bearings, cam, rocker arms, wrist pin, crankshaft, and cam chain are steel.
