Zugzug - They are in transit from Taiwan as we speak. I'm not sure of the ETA however, but they are probably still a couple of weeks out at least.

zugzug - Purchasing has not priced them yet, we usually don't until we actually have the product in our hands. I'll let you know as soon as we establish that.

PFS,
I want to thank you for years of great service, and quality parts. Both are hard to find these days, you have earned my respect.
I would request that you look into supporting the Linahi 257cc community. ex belts, cvt weights, clutches, all of the wear items mostly.
I really like your accessories like your scooter covers, and performance parts. Good quality items are what I look for.
My last shipment was via UPS, and they are so slow. I tried to use USPS on your site, but some how it still came up UPS. No biggie but thought I would mention it.
Kind regards,
Tim

Trigger - Thanks for the kind words. Linahi parts are on our short list to get into our product mix, but finding a good and constant supplier of these parts hasn't been so easy thus far. Rest assured that we are working on it however.
I'll look into the shipping issues. I just went and tested our website and it worked fine for me, so I hope that it was just a fluke, but I will keep an eye out for this issue in the future.
Dadzilla - As soon as we hammer out the details on the 150 Retro we'll start working on a 50cc version.
lshigham - The Honda Ruckus is a fun scoot. You'd be surprised about the complements you get riding one around. People just like the way it looks.

Hey guys! Since the readers and participants of this forum are a great cross section of our customers I wanted to open up a thread to allow all of you to input on how we develop our website. So guys, have at it. Product that you would like to see us carry, stuff we do that you don't like, stuff we do that you do like and would like us to do more of, you name it. Is there any way that we can improve how our customers can interact with website? Anyways, if anyone wants to provide any input we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Matt (Mods, sorry if I put this thread in the wrong place, please adjust as you see fit.) A couple of thoughts: First better descriptions would be a wonderful thing on your HP parts. If one rotating assembly or part (like a clutch bell) is significantly lighter over stock or even another HP unit that is a selling point. Ditto the weight of other components. I'd also suggest a torque/HP curve chart for parts like camshafts. I would love to see better brakes for scooters. Floating rotors, mounting brackets, bring it! Oh, and something everyone seems to miss, a good side and back picture of aftermarket exhaust systems mounted on a scooter. As many of them angle upward, that can interfere with body panels. Lastly, have you considered right hand navigation for your site? It really is a superior way to set up a page. I think if you give it a try, you will be pleased.

I love PFS! I buy stuff from you guys all the time!
I recently called for a little help and was pretty disappointed in the reply. I bought an instrument gauge assembly earlier in the year (that you no longer cary apparently) which I just got around to installing. I was hoping that you may have or know where I could find a wiring diagram for it so I could make it fit my scoot, especially since in the description on the site it said "Plug type may differ on some models, wiring can be reconfigured to connect if needed."
The response I was given was to post on here to get help. Interesting.
I love the part, it looks great, just want to have an idea of whats what on it without having to disassemble it.

Just so you guys know, they are not techy, they do not support technical questions about the parts they sell. They just sell the stuff, it is up to the buyer to know what he is buying and why. Just found that out with something I ordered and emailed them a question and info on the part I ordered and was surprised at their response. Alleyoop

For example, I had problems with a water pump failure on my scoot so I phoned up a regular supplier who sells water pump repair kits and asked for their advice, which I used to determine that it was in fact a belt problem. I then went on to place a $200 order with them to replace the parts that were damaged from the failure. I can think of 4 other suppliers who would also give advice.

Matt, I purchased the NCY stainless exhaust and had the pipe fabricated by a local custom car guy in St Pete for my Fly IL Bello 50cc. Will send pictures soon. You have a retro exhaust for the 150cc(pipe does not angle upward). This same pipe that will fit the 50cc should work...Please get a performance section.....

Arright guys... Here goes... First off sorry that I've been so unresponsive lately. We have been moving the company to a new location, and it has been all consuming. We've completed the move and are back to operating normally. You can check out the pictures on facebook if you like: www.facebook.com/pages/partsforscooterscom/169431985668Itsride - Toss me a little more information on what 90cc parts you would like to see, and we'll see if it is something we can accommodate quickly for you. RickMain - What?!? This is the "PartsForScooters.com needs your help!" thread, not the "Scrappydog will market themselves here" thread. I kid, I kid. It's good that you have those parts available as there is obviously a market for them that we are not ready to cater to yet, and you seem to provide good service to your customers. Making sure that the Scooter Market thrives here in the states is on all of our shoulders as parts distributors. apittington - We are working on a website redesign that should help with our descriptions. That being said, we don't get much information from our suppliers so we do the best we can to provide as detailed a description as possible. If you could provide more insight about what detail and what parts you would like to see it on it would be greatly appreciated. Whooo... I'll just be honest here... Body parts are tough to get and to stock correctly. When we do get them, they don't sell very well and we end up sitting on product. Unfortunately we don't get many requests for body parts, so we don't have a lot of insight about what to purchase and stock. If we can drum up some more support for body parts it is certainly something that we can work on. braveheart - I'd love to see the pictures of that pipe. We ended up doing all of the R&D on the 150 pipe ourselves. We went 150 first simply because we see a larger volume of sales for 150cc scooters over any other size. I currently don't know off the top of my head what tweaks would need to be made to make it fit a QMB50 motor, but we'll be looking into it. We are launching a brand new R&D initiative, and plan to be adding many new parts (OEM Replacement and Performance) over the next year, as well as new vendors. As far as a performance section is concerned, We'll have that covered in the aforementioned website redesign. Keep in mind that while the general population on Scootdawg is very performance minded, most of our business is actually OEM replacement to dealerships, and this is a balance that we have to maintain. I just want to point out that I deeply appreciate all of the feedback this thread provides, both positive and negative, and it helps us out immensely. Matt

Sorry Matt, just trying to fill a need for the Dawg's here that PFS isn't covering right now, like the VOG parts, Handsome boy and other body parts, retro exhaust, and 90cc scooter parts that we carry, all in stock at scrappydogscooters.com. One question, it seems that a large portion of the OEM parts that are very popular, gy6 choke just as an example, have been out of stock, many of which for a very long time. Have you guys considered having a west coast fulfillment center for quicker shipping to west coast customers, and also to fill in for deficient inventory times?

Rickmain - Thanks for the kind words. Yes, we switched suppliers when our old supplier dropped the ball on us... hard. Our new supplier's product is arriving in our warehouse as I type this, so our OOS items should be back and available very shortly.
As far as a West Coast Fulfillment center, this is an idea that gets tossed around the PFS offices on a regular basis. I'll shoot you off an IM soon, we should probably talk.

Matt, more performance parts with better descriptions and a more user friendly site. You could also add a little BLING(as Jeremy calls it) to your site to make it more interesting..I line in the St Petersburg area and would be more than happy to keep my business here for all my scooter needs....
