Hey guys!
Since the readers and participants of this forum are a great cross section of our customers I wanted to open up a thread to allow all of you to input on how we develop our website.
So guys, have at it. Product that you would like to see us carry, stuff we do that you don't like, stuff we do that you do like and would like us to do more of, you name it.
Is there any way that we can improve how our customers can interact with website?
Anyways, if anyone wants to provide any input we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks, Matt
(Mods, sorry if I put this thread in the wrong place, please adjust as you see fit.)

You guys are great! However I would like too see a few more performance parts, for instance main jets up #95 for 50cc carbs. Sometimes a better description and specs would definitely make things easier.

Maybe a little more diligence at answering phone messages. I called to find out about magnetic drain plugs for my scoot, stayed on the line forever, was sent to voice mail, left a message with my phone number and never got a call back. It didn't stop me from ordering a belt a few months later but I thought it was "unbusinesslike".
P.S. I'd still like to know about magnetic drain plugs for a GY6.

We buy a number of things from you, for example we ordered 2 each of 4 different stators and when we got the order they were all in white boxes with nothing indicating which were 5/2, 4/3 50cc or 150cc ect. We had to open each one to determine how to mark them and put them into inventory. Carolina Fun Machines

KZ1000st - I'll send this observation over to our sales team. What happened to you is unacceptable and I apologize. This isn't the way that we like to do business, although I do appreciate your continued patronage. I shall do my best to ensure that this situation doesn't repeat itself.
As far as the magnetized GY6 drain plug, it isn't anything that we have currently but it is a part that we are looking to add to our product mix, I shall let you know as soon as we do. I actually have someone at the Canton Fair in China looking for one right now so hopefully we'll have our hands on one shortly.
Carolina Fun Machines - In the very near future you will find that the vast majority of our parts will come in muticolor printed boxes or header cards and poly bags that are very marketable, and each one will have a label with a part number and a description. Getting this project done has actually been priority #1 since coming on board with PFS several months ago. I think you'll like what you see.
We continue to look for new products to add to our mix and performance is certainly and area that we are looking to expand, and soon.
All feedback on performance parts will be considered. We'll also try to make our descriptions better. You've probably noticed that our newer product has better descriptions than a lot of our older stuff. We are working to bring the older stuff up to date too, but in the end we are a small staff and there are only so many hours in the day. It may take us a little while, but we'll get it done.
Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming.
Matt

Im pretty new to scooters, and just bought a used one that needs a lot of work.. What im finding out with a lot of the parts websites is that NO site sells everything your looking for. Seems like one site sells this.. the other site sells that... ITs like why dont each site have both items.. For example. I saw one site has a fuel valve kit for my scooter a viva 150 touring scooter. NO other site has it. Yet they dont have the brake switch im looking for but another site does.. I hate to have to order from 5 different websites for 5 different items. Would rather one parts site and one shipping.. Just my two cents..

You guys rock! One thing I was looking for that you didn't have was a fuel sending unit for a 50cc, it is the round type not the square one. You do offer the right type for a 150cc but the float is way to long. Also standard gas caps for the 50cc scooter, not the locking style. I searched but was unable to find it. Also 250cc Linhai parts.
You guys have always been great able shipping and getting the parts to me fast.
Now you don't need to add performance parts!! That is what I do. LOL! Just kidding!

justguy1 - send me a DM with the parts and the pricing information. We don't claim to be the cheapest on the internet, the fast service that we offer does have some underlying cost that we have to recuperate, but that being said, if what you've found warrants a pricing change, then I can make that happen too. What you can also do for a bit quicker reaction is give us a call and ask one of our salespeople to do the price match, and so long as we don't lose our ass on the deal, I don't think it'll be an issue. Thanks, Matt

How about an aftermarket/performance exhaust that will work on the retro scoots. I havent found anyone yet who carries them. Well I did find one seller in china but I dont remember the website, so I know they are out there. -Zug

Zugzug - We have the same scoot as a "shop scoot" and have been looking for a decent exhaust for a little while now with no luck yet. If anyone can point us in the right direction we'd love the help.

Zugzug - Update - We took the stock exhaust off of our shop scoot and shipped it off to Taiwan yesterday to have a performance version made. It will probably be about two months before we have anything to work with. I'll post as soon as we have a finished product to sell.

Matt, is there an aftermarket Lambretta or Vespa exhaust that would work?

I second the need for a performance exhaust for our retro scoots. I have a similar model that ZugZug has.

Dawgs.... I just stumbled across this thread. I want you all to know that PFS was one of my first friends when I started ScootDawg. I tested them by ordering parts from them and they came through pronto with the right parts. Highly recommended by Dawg.

Nickie - No, we've found that a true vintage pipe won't match up correctly on these GY6 based machines. That would have been way too easy. Dawg - Thanks for the props and the sticky! We will continue to do our best to support the scooter industry. Matt

Possibly, you could stock the ncy buddy 61mm iron cylinder for the gy6 ? I hear it doesnt require machining of the case = bolt on . Or any iron cylinder that has that attribute . Robb

philr54 - I don't think you can see it in the pictures, but the support is hidden behind the pipe. It is actually on there quite solidly.
This being said, we took a closer look and have requested changes to the mount for the final product to make sure that it isn't going anywhere after installed.
As always, thank you for the input.

Hi Matt, I have a 250CC scooter that uses a 918-22.5-30 size belt which I can't find on your web site. I also need one bolt that holds the CVT cover on. The name on the Scooter is Cheetah but I think it may be a Roketa 250-54B. Do you or can you get these parts?

Very nice custom pipe for the retro, what will the price point be and does it require rejetting the carb due to better flow?
Thanks,
Gary

Price is still TBD. It doesn't look like it will require new jetting, but it would probably be a good idea for any power gains.

Hello, I've been all over your site finding the many parts for my fix r upper. An improvement would be having labeled detailed pictures of the various engines as I could have found my engine type and parts quicker this way.
