Thanks for the Compliments, I am a a fan of some of your builds as well. The game plan was to look as close to sleeper stock as we could. By the time you see it at the twist and gone rally it will most likely be a true 300 Linhai. The Motor mount, second shock and cooling were the biggest issues. Electrics were really basic to get it up and running. We changed a few basic things but it was almost a plug in. We are still running a stock GY6 QJ CDI. Getting it running and getting it to run the way we want it to are two different things.
Right now we have not seen how fast it will go Top Speed. We are aproaching almost 80 and with the rake on that style bike it starts to get a little headshake. Besides we are not looking for top speed as much as quickness. I want to see it launch really hard. We are holding off on the build write up until we have it right.
We are really backed up on the toys we want to bring. We are pretty busy with service work on atvs right now and it is cold here in GA. Colder then I have ever seen since moving here 12 years ago. I'm use to the cold being from NY but didn't move here for it and the shop is cold for putting in extra hours. We should have a few more things up by the end of the week. Enviro where are you buying Stage 6 on the Wholesale? Pm me if you don't mind or give me a call.

I really like the sleeper look on it!! Very nice look, and from my view point, clearance on the bottom does not look bad at all. Looking forward to seeing final pics, and video form Twist and Gone!!!

Good grief! Just saw this post...
NICE WORK! I've always loved the look of the small scoots, but their small engines don't give you much performance. You certainly fixed that!
As Barbara Walters might say: "I'm impwessed!"
VERY slick scoot! The "hooligan-scooter" boys in Europe must be salivating in their bier as they scope this one out!

I reread your posts a little slower this time, so more sunk in, beyond the pics which were awesome BTW. I'm fresh out of school for fabrication & welding, and was curious on how you adapted the 150cc mounting hardware to accept a 260cc engine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we went from lining up the pieces on the lift, to mounting the radiator, to done. I felt like I missed some vital bits to the buildup. Did you have to fabricate & tack-weld in a new back half, with compatible mounting brackets?

VERY NICE! How much money in total did everything cost to get done? This is something I would like to do, but dont have a welder to make the brackets fit. How hard was this to do in the end?
