LOL! yeah think i need high dose of aspirin ,too much staring at that crystal ball of yours. no yeah, honestly Jrr,it has solid ride unlike other scooters i rode,Morph has no rattling even at 80mph. very smooth. i tried bali 150cc before, it can't get close to morph when it comes to smoothness of ride and power. dunno it's just my observation

Well even on the rum cake and egg nog you'd for sure know the difference on a morph and a Bali 150! I have no doubt that the Morph is a better scooter than a Bali but it should be at the price and such! But in the Yamaha line I would a lot rather have a Majesty than a Morph, faster, better power, good ride and for sure prettier! JRR

i was in swap meet this morning and parked my morphy amongst other 10 MC's and scooters,,when i was about to go,3-5 people are talking and looking at my scooty, they went closer to my morphy and start smiling,i heard them saying, awsome bike, nice, that's a long scooter bro!!(few of them are mc owners too) very shiny, i like it,those were the comments i heard, if i happened to park a majesty,or t-max or burgman or perhaps bali there,i doubt if i can get any compliments,it's just that morph is not an ordinary looking scoot like others that i know.LOL!, i think the rhum has a bad effect on me, he he he ps: saw this on Youtube----> www.youtube.com/watch?v=3x5RvDafdao

All I know is the guy in the youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=3x5RvDafdao be it JR or not, Santa Clause buys his tires. ;D Note: Changed wording due to some people not liking the wording or feeling it was not appropriate.

All I know is JR's Mommy buys his tires. ;D I would like to apologize to JR and anyone else that thought my post was in bad taste. For all the years of my life we have had a saying that if anyone is out spinning their tires they must not be paying for them as they are not cheap so we say their mommy is buying their tires for them and they don't realize the cost of them. I meant no insult to anyone and had no intention of offending any one it was meant as a joke.

Every man has his soft spot. ;D ;D ;D You never know - he may even like it - may be for the Variator parts tho.

anymore updates? just put 120miles on my morph today, what a solid ride!! it can kick the ass's of other scooters LOL!!!! ;D Due to transmission problems with my van, I had no choice but to ride the Morph for the last week. It's been frickin cold here and the Morph, due to it's lack of windshield, is NOT an all season scooter!. I finally replaced the tires on the 01 Helix and now I'm riding that as my main vehicle. It's amazing how much warmer it is behind the windshield of the helix. It was somewhere around 23° F riding home tonight and much colder with the crazy wind but I was not cold at all during the 10 mile ride due in part to my snow pants, warm jacket and the Helix's great weather protection. The new tires improved the handling a great deal. More stable and controllable now. The Morph is in the garage until spring. The low rumble sound you hear anytime the clutch engages bothers me. If you very slowly roll on the gas it will engage smoothly. I paid special attention to the helix's clutch today and it's silky smooth. I'm not referring to the very initial acceleration.. The Helix has slight chadder as you move off the line but unlike the Morph, once you are going you can throttle it, let go of the gas and throttle it all you like and you can never even tell the clutch is engaging. You can always tell when the clutch engages with the Yamaha. I'm goign to wait until spring to take the Vairitor apart and check for problems per your direction. Perhaps, with it only having 147 miles on it and sitting most of the last 3 years, the grease has hardened similar to what happened to yours. I hope it's something like that because it would be a shame if the issue I'm having is due to a design flaw. I'm also hoping, although not counting on it, that the clutch issue might be related to the morph's ,shall we say, casual acceleration. After riding the /helix again, it's clear that the Helix is noticeably quicker and handles hills better.

One thing I noticed about the Helix is the mirrors are mounted where they block wind from hitting your hands. The radiator exhaust vents are also aimed at your hands. Clever engineering on Honda's part.
When I ordered my Morphous I insisted they get me a better windshield. BTW I had to wait 3 months for my Morphous to be delivered. You need to get it broken in before it runs right. Every bike or scooter I bought has felt like a dog when new. After a couple of thousand miles I will suddenly notice the change in performance.

The improvement is the BREAK in point. Typical of all vehicles. Engine parts hone themselves to the sweet spot. Some vehicles take quite a few miles to reach that point. My Honda Big Ruckus PS-250 took nearly 10K to get to there. Mileage jumped nearly 10 mpg increase at that point, to. It's a very fine machine especially once the J. Costa variator was installed. Runs like a 400 c.c. scooter now.
