So I’ve been watching too much MotoGP racing lately and now when I ride I find myself in my own fantasy race. Only in really slooooooooow motion lol.
So this weekend I spend a couple of hours shooting my ride like they shoot races, with pov cameras etc. It’s kind of fun to see my scoot in action form such a different perspective.
This is also a tribute to all the 2 stroke and Triton fans in the Dawg Pound!

I'd love to get Mexicano over here from the other forums. I really like that front fairing paint that you did. On a completely side note, that new banner up there is extremely annoying ^

Thanks Reign. You remember i struggled with that paint and the design was a total guess but it did turn out cool. Especially as you move around it.

Mexicano is just about the best Triton modder out there. Check out his thread over at scooterinvasion: www.scooterinvasion.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8He's the reason I bought my Triton. I was having second thoughts about buying it until I saw that thread. It would be awesome to get him on these boards.

Had to chesk it out after your comment on the Tag thread. Very nice. I like the POV cameras as well. I have a rig for mine for my "road pegs" and for my mirrors. I just need two cameras now!!

Thanks Jake. More cameras are better ;D I just did several runs in sequence. Mounting at the pegs is a good idea. I have a light tripod that i put the camera on and then just zip tied it to the floor board. That let me get the camera out and looking back at the scoot a bit like i wanted.

dual cameras?! that reminds me of 3d glasses. If you mount the cameras next to each other pointing at the same thing, and change the colors of the videos to red and blue and mix them together. throw on some anaglyph glasses and you got 3d scooterin'!

I shoot the POV stuff with a Canon G9. It's a medium sized photo camera that also shoots HD video. Cost was under $500 when i got them. Unfortunately Canon took the HD video function off the newer models so i stated buying up existing stock. You can still find them if you look. The tripod shots are with a Sony EX1. CiniAlta camera.

Good eye Luke, i had to think for a sec but yup it is. I think that was the first trip i did with that camera. (Hong Kong) Before that i was using Z1Us. Burned through 4 of those ;D The tape-less EX is great. Already on my second one. Here i am with it in Beijing.
